About the Role
This position is for an experienced Electrical Engineer passionate about advancing the renewable energy transition within Australia. The role involves engagement with projects related to solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and grid-connected infrastructure. Candidates may be considered for confidential and forthcoming initiatives across various renewable segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and provide electrical engineering support for renewable energy projects.
- Conduct design, review, and coordination of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems.
- Perform grid connection studies and actively liaise with network service providers.
- Assist with commissioning, testing phases, and project handover activities.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, external consultants, and construction teams to deliver solutions.
Skills and Experience
- Possession of a degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
- Practical experience in the renewable energy sector, power generation, utilities, or related infrastructure projects.
- Proficient understanding of HV/LV electrical systems, substations, inverters, transformers, and protection systems.
