Role Overview
The Dry Lab Technician position is a full-time, on-site role located in Dammam. This role involves routine analysis and testing of paper samples within a dry lab environment to assess strength, moisture content, and other physical attributes, ensuring products comply with quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and label paper samples accurately for testing.
- Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments for physical measurements.
- Document and organize test results meticulously.
- Report unusual findings or quality deviations to supervisors and quality control teams.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory workstations.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to facilitate process enhancements and productivity.
- Adhere to safety and environmental protocols strictly.
Qualifications and Skills
- Competence in basic laboratory procedures, including sample prep, testing, and precise data recording.
- Experience with lab equipment to measure physical characteristics of paper or related materials.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability with adherence to documented protocols.
- Understanding of industrial health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Technical diploma or certification in laboratory technology, industrial technology, or relevant discipline; manufacturing or quality control experience is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team and adjust to shift or production schedules.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and report preparation.
