About the Role
Pivotal Sec Plus, the largest independent cash carrier across the UK and Ireland, is seeking dedicated drivers to join their team. The company services a variety of clients including local and national retailers, authorities, and financial institutions, maintaining a service accuracy of over 99%.
Safety and security underpin the company's operations. New drivers undergo a comprehensive 4-day residential training course in Staffordshire, leading to a nationally recognized Level 2 qualification for Cash and Valuables in Transit (CVIT) operations and an SIA license. This training is fully supported and funded by the employer.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 3.5-ton vehicles to collect and deliver cash and valuables securely.
- Handle and transport customers' cash and valuables with utmost care.
- Develop positive relations with customers through professional and courteous service.
- Strictly follow safety protocols and company procedures.
- Consistently deliver excellent customer service.
- Work various shifts covering short, medium, and long-distance routes; workdays can vary.
- Regular involvement in manual handling tasks as part of the role.
Requirements
- Demonstrate trustworthiness, responsibility, and a methodical work approach.
- Hold a valid full UK driving license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred but not mandatory; full training will be provided.
- Ability to provide a checkable 10-year work history or for school leavers, an equivalent.
- Adaptable and flexible regarding work patterns.
- Strong interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Follow instructions carefully and meet deadlines consistently.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of £13.37.
- Double pay rate for bank holidays.

The role involves varying workdays per week with options for both full-time and part-time positions. Training is conducted at a dedicated Training Centre emphasizing safety and professionalism.
