Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and perform preventive upkeep on Document Center scanners daily, weekly, and monthly while documenting any service issues encountered.
- Accurately scan a variety of documents, ensuring proper data capture for image retention purposes.
- Conduct quality control to verify that documents are correctly batched before scanning and accurately transferred to the designated image retention application afterward.
- Provide training to temporary and full-time support staff on document scanning processes and quality assurance standards.
- Communicate effectively with Document Center management to report workload status, errors, or any concerns.
- Execute additional duties as assigned within the scope of document management.
Required Qualifications
- A solid operational knowledge of production scanning and preventive scanner maintenance procedures.
- Proficient understanding of imaging software, specifically Documentum, Kofax Capture, Captiva Capture, and Omniform Filler.
- Skilled in PC applications with strong familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of Oracle database systems is advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of document preparation, scanning, and indexing protocols.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Strong teamwork skills, accountability, and integrity in performance.
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Able to accept and act on instructions from multiple supervisors in a positive, feedback-oriented environment.
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
- Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, as business needs require.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Experience with Kodak i5250v scanners or similar equipment.
- Familiarity with document management platforms like Documentum, Kofax Capture, Captiva Capture, and Omniform Filler.
- Preferred: Minimum of 2 years' experience in imaging services including document scanning and indexing.
- Technological and mechanical aptitude, capable of independent work with limited oversight.
- Highly detail-focused with sustained attention to task accuracy and quality.
- Ability to effectively multitask without sacrificing work quality or output.
