About Gloria Jeans

Gloria Jeans is a prominent fashion retail group that began as a denim specialist in 1988 and has since expanded into a fast-fashion leader operating over 600 stores. With a workforce exceeding 7,000 employees and nearly 1 billion USD in revenue, they provide stylish and affordable clothing, footwear, and accessories for women, men, and children, also branching into home and beauty product lines. The company's philosophy centers on inspiring, accessible, and constantly evolving fashion.

Role Overview

This role involves overseeing the digital storefronts for Gloria Jeans’ online presence, including both mobile app and website platforms. The primary goal is to enhance profitability, improve user experience, and meet business KPIs like conversion rates, average order value, revenue, and product satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales via digital channels focused on clothing, accessories, and cross-category products to boost profit, conversion rates, and average order value.
  • Possess strong understanding of fashion retail product categories and seasonality to enhance offerings.
  • Develop a Metric Tree to break down business metrics into actionable product hypotheses and implement system thinking to handle dependencies among storefront, search, filters, cart, ERP/WMS, loyalty, and recommendation engines.
  • Utilize deep data analysis, formulate hypotheses, and apply data-driven decision-making.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of the fashion market, including trends, customer behaviors, competitors, and essential digital commerce scenarios such as search, purchase, payment, try-on, and returns.
  • Create Customer Journey Maps (CJMs), analyze scenarios, identify user pain points, and use the Job To Be Done (JTBD) approach.
  • Perform competitor analysis and incorporate best practices in ecommerce user experience; conduct qualitative and quantitative research through A/B tests, surveys, NPS, and Customer Effort Scores.
  • Leverage AI, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma; prioritize tasks using frameworks like RICE, ICE, or Weighted Scoring aligned with company OKRs.
  • Collaborate with external partners (contractors, integrators, agencies) and internal teams (development, design, marketing, merchandising, logistics) to define requirements for digital storefront features, recommendation systems, and search functionalities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in e-commerce, preferably in fashion or retail sectors.
  • Proficient spoken English at an intermediate level or above.
  • Competency in constructing Metric Trees and understanding functional and technical system dependencies.
  • Experience conducting customer development interviews and analyzing quantitative survey data.
  • Familiarity with AI tools is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Russian language is a plus, particularly for internal communication or CIS market analysis.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package.
  • Visa assistance and healthcare insurance coverage.
  • Opportunities for career advancement within a rapidly growing global fashion retail environment.
  • Exposure to international multicultural teams and Middle East–focused projects.
