Job description
Role Overview
In the role of Digital Business Analyst, you will lead the design of digital products aimed at providing exceptional customer experiences across various digital platforms including apps, websites, and CRM systems. Your journey begins with gathering and defining requirements, progressing through customer experience design, and concludes with delivery and client rollout.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and facilitate business requirements workshops and document findings comprehensively.
- Produce precise and detailed business requirements to guide design and development teams in crafting customer-centric solutions.
- Develop business cases that include identification and quantification of value.
- Conduct in-depth interviews with customer stakeholders to gather essential insights and requirements.
- Advise and support client product owners in determining feature priorities.
- Create user stories, manage product backlogs, and conduct ongoing backlog refinement activities.
- Apply design thinking and agile frameworks to achieve timely delivery of benefits to business and customers.
- Take full ownership of projects from inception to completion, resolving obstacles and ensuring outcomes are met.
- Coordinate digital projects by managing resources, stakeholder relationships, and cross-team collaboration internally and with clients.
- Bring together multidisciplinary teams including creative, business, and technical professionals often spanning various locations.
- Effectively communicate with clients and project teams, managing expectations, sharing vision, and fostering collaboration.
- Mentor colleagues and team members with varying experience and skills.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Over four years’ experience managing digital and customer-focused projects from concept through delivery.
- Proven track record in delivering Web, Mobile, and eCommerce initiatives on leading technology platforms.
- Experience collaborating with service, UX/UI designers, front-end developers, data engineers, and digital marketing professionals.
- Expertise running business and technical workshops to capture comprehensive product requirements.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools and agentic AI techniques for capturing, shaping, and refining requirements.
- Experience with AI native engineering practices and deploying enterprise-grade AI agents from providers such as Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI.
- Preferred experience working with geographically distributed teams and operating within complex matrix organizations.
- Utilization of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and design applications like Figma is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary education in design, technology or related fields.
- Certifications such as SAFe Agile, PMP, or AI-related credentials are beneficial.
