Role overview
The Camp Dietitian will partner with the on-site kitchen team to make sure all campers and staff receive meals and snacks with correct carbohydrate calculations, appropriate portion sizes, and a well-balanced menu.
What the role involves
This position focuses on working closely with food-service staff to support meal planning and execution in a camp environment, with special attention to the needs of individuals with type 1 diabetes.
Required background
Camp experience is not a must, but the ideal candidate should already have experience supporting people with type 1 diabetes and be confident in carbohydrate counting.
