DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and sustain scalable cloud infrastructure alongside modern software delivery systems. This position emphasizes managing cloud platforms, automating infrastructure, overseeing continuous integration and deployment, ensuring system stability, and raising operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure, robust, and highly resilient cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Create, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery processes.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate infrastructure provisioning following best practices.
• Deploy, configure, and supervise containerized applications and orchestration environments.
• Track system performance, monitor application uptime, and optimize cloud resource usage.
• Diagnose and resolve issues tied to infrastructure, deployments, and applications by conducting root cause analysis.
• Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability mechanisms to bolster system reliability.
• Work collaboratively with developers, QA, and IT teams to refine development and deployment workflows.
• Manage cloud-related networking, storage solutions, identity and access permissions, and security setups.
• Support backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity efforts.
• Optimize cloud expenditure, enhance resource allocation, and increase overall operational efficiency.
• Ensure all infrastructure aligns with security protocols, governance standards, and industry best practices.
• Keep comprehensive technical documentation, deployment guides, and operations runbooks up to date.
• Assess and integrate new cloud technologies, automation tools, and DevOps methodologies.
• Champion continuous enhancements for system performance, scalability, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or an equivalent discipline.
• Deep grasp of DevOps methodologies, cloud architectures, and infrastructure management.
• Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD systems, version control, and modern software delivery pipelines.
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools including Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and system administration fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of core networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Programming or scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience using monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Awareness of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting capabilities, and problem resolution skills.
