Job Overview
Join Google as a Developer Event Marketing Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role within the Global Experiences and Marketing Operations team at Google Cloud. This position involves managing the planning, execution, and success measurement of key global developer event programs, including integration with major first-party events like Google Cloud Next. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape marketing strategy and drive engagement with developer communities worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and executing an annual roadmap of developer events to maximize audience engagement.
- Oversee the full event execution cycle for select global events, coordinating closely with regional marketing teams to ensure consistent local delivery.
- Manage developer-centric activities and activations during Google and Google Cloud's premier events, ensuring smooth operations and meaningful user experiences.
- Monitor and analyze event performance indicators, producing reports on insights and ROI for leadership reviews.
- Administer event budgets efficiently, ensuring compliance with financial protocols and optimal resource use.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least four years’ experience across marketing domains such as growth, product marketing, brand marketing, or social marketing.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional or cross-team projects successfully.
- Preferred: experience in partner marketing, consulting with behavioral marketing data, sales operations, financial analytics, or use of AI productivity tools to solve complex problems and improve workflows.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $116,000 to $167,000 USD annually plus a 15% bonus target.
- Equity and comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
- 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
- Paid time off including 20 vacation days per year, sick leave, maternity leave up to 30 weeks, baby bonding leave, and 13 paid holidays annually.

While the primary location for this role is New York, NY, candidates can specify a preferred work site among Seattle, WA; Austin, TX; Kirkland, WA; San Francisco, CA; Sunnyvale, CA; or New York, NY.
