Role Overview
The Design Executive position plays a central role in shaping our creative outputs. You will be tasked with creating top-quality social media visuals, thought leadership graphics, guides, and marketing collateral that help clients distinguish themselves in the market. Collaborating closely with content writers, videographers, and strategists, you will transform creative ideas into impactful designs while enhancing the delivery of engaging LinkedIn content.
This opportunity suits someone passionate about design—someone who frequently observes outstanding branding, curates inspiring social posts, experiments with layout designs, and strives to produce work of which they can be proud.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee LinkedIn brand pages, assuring consistency and superior quality output.
- Create and schedule diverse social media content, combining graphics with compelling written copy.
- Align all creative content with clients’ brand identities, tones, and market positioning.
- Track content performance and propose enhancements to boost engagement and reach.
- Design premium visual assets for social campaigns and marketing materials, including LinkedIn carousels and branded images.
- Collaborate with multifaceted teams to breathe life into creative ideas, supporting client projects across multiple brands.
- Experiment with different layouts, styles, and formats to continually elevate content engagement.
- Produce guides, reports, sales collateral, presentation decks, and downloadable assets that add tangible value.
- Support webinar, campaign, and product launch initiatives by delivering creative assets in coordination with marketing and videography teams.
- Maintain a steady pipeline of high-caliber creative outputs across client portfolios.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of social content, offering recommendations to raise creative standards.
- Stay current with design trends, LinkedIn best practices, and evolving creative formats.
- Design thought leadership content and graphics for senior executives on LinkedIn, ensuring each reflects individual voices.
- Manage scheduling and posting across several LinkedIn accounts, optimizing for continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a keen eye for design details such as typography, color schemes, layout, branding, and fine details that transform good design into outstanding work.
- Brings creativity and original thinking, not simply task execution, to every assignment.
- Holds a compelling portfolio showcasing strong creativity, meticulous design thinking, and attention to detail, whether from academic, freelance, internships or prior professional experiences.
- Experienced with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, confidently producing polished professional designs.
- Proficient in copywriting, able to craft clear and adaptable messages fitting diverse brands.
- Strong understanding of social media dynamics, especially LinkedIn, creating visually captivating content supporting marketing goals.
- Driven to continually hone skills through feedback, learning, and a proactive approach to career development in design.
- Highly organized and dependable, capable of juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Collaborative, valuing teamwork with marketers, strategists, videographers, and other creatives to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Meticulous about details, ensuring elements such as spacing, alignment, consistency, and copy are flawlessly executed.
Benefits
- Competitive salary accompanied by a performance-based bonus.
- Work located in Glasgow City Centre office.
- Regular company gatherings and team-building events.
- Clear pathways for career progression.
- Ongoing mentoring and constructive feedback sessions.
- Opportunity to work with a diverse range of exciting brands.
