Role Overview
The Deputy Project Manager will assist in managing a complex, multi-billion dollar Defence capability project within a dynamic and multidisciplinary project office. Working closely with the Project Manager, responsibilities include facilitating project planning, oversight, reporting, risk assessments, and maintaining successful engagement with stakeholders to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and performance targets.
Candidate Profile
This position suits candidates with Defence industry experience who excel in structured environments, are familiar with Commonwealth project protocols, and possess the confidence to operate effectively across technical, commercial, and stakeholder fronts.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Qualifications in Project Management or Engineering.
- A minimum of three years of experience working within the Defence sector.
- Robust stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities to effectively collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must hold at least an NV1 Security Clearance.
