About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and skilled Deputy Manager to support the joint management of our busy creche centre in Celbridge, Co. Kildare. This position is ideal for someone with a proven background in childcare who is eager to lead, develop best practice, and inspire a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily functioning of the centre to maintain a safe, developmentally appropriate setting in compliance with all statutory standards.
- Applying deep knowledge of children's needs and developmental progress across different ages and stages.
- Promoting high standards in early learning and care by modeling exemplary practices.
- Delivering our REACH curriculum with clear connections to early education theory, aligned to Aistear and Siolta frameworks.
- Enforcing all organisational policies, procedures, and risk assessments as mandated by childcare regulations.
- Managing both people and business operations with confidence, including financial oversight and occupancy planning.
- Ensuring robust implementation of child protection protocols according to Children First guidelines.
- Designing and evaluating learning programmes that nurture diversity and inclusivity.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent).
- At least 5 years' experience in childcare, with minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for supporting each child's individual growth and development.
- Possession of a full, clean EU driving license and access to private transport.

- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Ability to handle occupancy management and financial targets effectively.
