Delivery Driver (Zero/Casual Hours)

About the Role

As a Delivery Driver at GSF Car Parts, you will be a vital member of the team representing our brand through timely deliveries and excellent customer service. You will play a key role in customer interaction by sharing insightful feedback and ensuring the prompt delivery of automotive parts within the agreed timeframe.

Working on a zero hour/casual contract, your role involves providing cover during staff holidays or absences, supporting the branch's smooth operation and contributing to the overall success of a high-performing company.

Main Duties

• Deliver products to customer locations within a 40-mile radius from the branch.
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service at all times.
• Provide the branch with feedback on relevant customer and competitor observations.
• Load delivery vehicles following company procedures.
• Collect returned products from customers as required.
• Perform vehicle maintenance including daily vehicle checks.
• Assist in warehouse activities when necessary.
• Support Inter-Branch Transfer Deliveries as needed.

Working Hours

You can expect to work up to an average of 41 hours between Monday and Friday, which may include alternate Saturdays, depending on branch coverage requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Well-acquainted with the area within a 40-mile radius of the branch location.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential.
• Strong understanding of the importance of excellent customer service standards.
• Ability to meet deadlines with punctuality and dependability.
• Customer-oriented, motivated to succeed, and ready to exceed expectations.
