Role Overview
The Delivery Driver position plays a critical role in the smooth operation of logistics by ensuring that goods are delivered punctually to designated branches along specific routes. The role includes careful review of orders before dispatch, managing the loading and unloading of delivery vans, and maintaining excellent customer service standards with internal clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and load products into vans according to specific company guidelines.
- Execute deliveries to internal customers on established routes.
- Maintain regular communication with the route dispatcher to update on delivery progress.
- Unload goods in alignment with customer requirements.
- Verify delivered items with customers to confirm they meet expected quality and specifications.
- Secure delivery confirmations from every customer served.
Candidate Requirements
- Dependable punctuality and strong time management skills.
- Willingness to be flexible as operational demands require.
- Possession of a valid full UK Driving Licence.
