Deli Assistant

Job Overview

This role involves preparing high-quality hot and cold deli items while ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Possession of HACCP certification is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong communication abilities
• Previous experience in customer service is beneficial
• Capable of working collaboratively within a team in a fast-moving setting and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure
• Demonstrates enthusiasm for food and can positively influence customers

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders encompassing all fresh food categories such as assembling sandwiches and rolls, serving hot dishes, and slicing meats using the store’s portion control guidelines
• Cook, prepare, and present food offerings continuously throughout the day
• Maintain exceptional appearance and organization of fresh food displays across counters all day long
• Showcase a passion for quality foods by sharing knowledge, recipes, and personalized suggestions with customers
• Handle all customer inquiries promptly, courteously, and in compliance with store policies
