About the Role
Based in Culloden, WV, the Data Visualization Analyst will report directly to the Inventory Control and Process Manager. This role focuses on designing interactive dashboards and visual analytics to turn complex business information into actionable insights. The analyst will closely collaborate with various departments to identify reporting requirements, automate workflows, and deliver accurate, user-friendly visualizations that enhance decision-making in inventory, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports, offering training and end-user support.
- Transform complex data into visual stories such as charts, heatmaps, and graphs to provide clear recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and capture reporting needs to improve essential business metrics.
- Prepare and model data by cleaning, organizing, and integrating various sources to facilitate accurate reporting.
- Conduct thorough data validation to maintain consistency, accuracy, and reliability of all visual outputs.
- Find and implement opportunities to automate reporting workflows to minimize manual data handling.
- Provide analytical and automation support to Inventory, Manufacturing, Distribution, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, and other operational functions.
- Carry out any other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Visualization, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Proven analytical and reporting skills with experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
- Advanced command of Power BI including DAX and Power Query; solid SQL knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Good grasp of UX/UI design principles, color theory, and layout for effective visual communication.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and oral, with skill in simplifying complex data for diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented mindset ensuring data accuracy and quality in deliverables.
- Strong ownership attitude focusing on producing practical outcomes.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite, or equivalents.
- Background in handling inventory, supply chain, or operations-related data.
- Familiarity with data integration methods, APIs, and ETL pipelines.
