Key Responsibilities

• Analyze extensive clinical, operational, textual, and medical imaging data sets to generate valuable insights.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to inform product development, research, and clinical decisions.
• Train, assess, and refine computer vision and large language models.
• Construct solid evaluation methodologies for AI models.
• Investigate issues with model outputs such as errors, hallucinations, biases, and failure modes.
• Design experiments to assess models, prompts, datasets, and training approaches.
• Develop and optimize prompts for LLM-based applications.
• Work on structured data extraction, summarization, classification, and generating medical text.
• Support dataset creation including annotation techniques, quality checks, and data preparation.
• Assist with model training, fine-tuning, and ongoing improvements.
• Build tools enhancing AI development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, research, product, and veterinary expert teams.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and technical insights clearly and effectively.
• Manage projects independently from inception to delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of statistics and core machine learning concepts.
• Self-motivated with a capacity for rapid learning and independently tackling novel challenges.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience through industry roles, research, internships, or personal projects.
• Experience with large language models, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation.
• Exposure to computer vision and medical imaging techniques.
• Hands-on machine learning practice using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with healthcare, veterinary, or biomedical datasets.
• Expertise in experimental design and benchmarking AI systems.
• Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools.
