Overview
This role involves leveraging analytical skills within the marketing analytics domain of property and casualty (P&C) insurance. The candidate will engage in translating business challenges into analytical models to derive actionable insights for effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire deep understanding of marketing and campaign processes in the P&C insurance sector.
- Participate in moderately complex projects to transform business questions into analytical tasks and deliver insights accordingly.
- Execute programming and generate reports to inform large-scale strategic planning and decisions.
- Produce campaign and project performance reports, interpreting marketing concepts accurately.
- Conduct end-to-end data analytics using Python and SAS to extract relevant results based on problem statements.
- Perform thorough analysis of complex data sets and aggregations.
- Ensure quality control and validation of results by self-review in alignment with evolving requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise in exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Apply modeling techniques using large variable sets from diverse sources.
- Utilize knowledge of statistics and machine learning methods to enhance model development.
Required Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of P&C insurance marketing and campaigns.
- Proficiency in Python and SAS for programming and data extraction.
- Strong capability in exploratory data analysis.
- Experience with statistical analysis and implementing machine learning algorithms.
