Your Impact

As a Data Engineer I, you will create the core data infrastructure supporting advanced AI applications, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval systems, workflows, and emerging autonomous AI architectures. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable data pipelines, managing secure data environments, and preparing diverse data sets to power AI-driven solutions.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, and industry specialists, you will address complex real-world challenges, participate in R&D projects aimed at innovating AI capabilities, and help adopt AI technologies enterprise-wide.

Work Environment

Based in London, you will be part of a global data engineering community working in Agile teams on cutting-edge AI and data projects. Your client engagements will span from data owners to C-level executives, where you will help implement scalable, enterprise-ready AI systems that provide significant business value.

Candidate Profile and Skills

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience.
  • Prior data-centric experience through internships or academic projects.
  • Proficient in writing clean, well-documented code mainly using Python and SQL.
  • Interest or exposure to data engineering related to Agentic AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning or Business Intelligence across structured/unstructured, streaming/batch data.
  • Familiarity with data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL and cloud services including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with engineering tools such as Pandas, Spark, dbt, LangChain.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices including Git for version control, DevOps, MLOps/LLMOps, and CI/CD.
  • Strong time management skills to thrive independently in a complex environment.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to rapidly learn diverse projects and technologies.
  • Experience with coding agents like Cursor, Claude Code, Codex is advantageous.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
