Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a partner organization associated with Haystack to fill the role of a Data Analyst. This role involves providing specialized expertise and support related to acquisitions and programmatic functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expertise and assistance in acquisitions and programmatic activities.
- Assist in the planning and allocation review processes annually.
- Conduct financial requirement assessments, prepare allocation drafts, and develop briefing documents.
- Create and manage funding tracking tools while analyzing fund execution, expenditures, and expiration.
- Review spending plans presented by performers and maintain communication regarding funding progress.
- Support the implementation of funding and data requests.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least four years of relevant experience working with Department of the Navy clients such as NAVSEA or NAVWAR.
- Minimum two years of experience utilizing data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
- At least two years of experience programming in SQL and Python aimed at data manipulation tasks.
- One or more years working with data engineering technologies like Databricks or Spark.
- Background in acquisition processes, program management, and financial analytical work.
- Possession of an active Secret clearance and a Bachelor’s degree.
