Job Overview
As a Customer Experience Representative, you will foster a welcoming environment that enhances authentic experiences for both employees and customers. Your role is anchored in Indigo’s culture and mission of spreading joy through connection and storytelling. Candidates willing to start at 5:00 AM will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily store operations including early (5 AM) or late (10 PM) shifts.
- Execute inventory counts, restock merchandise, handle product returns, and manage incoming shipments.
- Maintain visually engaging merchandising standards within the store.
- Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers.
- Enhance customers’ lives by sharing stories about our products.
- Interact on the sales floor to engage and connect with shoppers.
- Customize product collections tailored to each customer's preferences.
- Exemplify Indigo’s high-performance standards.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and company programs.
- Promote a healthy and safe environment for employees and customers alike.
- Promptly address and respond to customer feedback.
- Hold yourself and others accountable for performance and conduct.
- Commit to personal development and support colleagues and leadership through feedback.
- Offer ideas to enhance both employee and customer experiences.
Candidate Qualifications
- Preferred experience in specialty or general retail, though not mandatory.
- Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn across different store roles.
- Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer and employee experiences.
- Physical stamina to remain mobile on the floor for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift medium to large items (up to 40 pounds) using proper equipment.
- Availability to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnights, and early mornings as needed.
- Bilingualism in French and English is required for roles in Québec; additional languages are advantageous.
