Ace Handyman Services in Buford is hiring a multi-skilled Craftsman to handle a variety of repair, maintenance, and remodeling assignments for homes and businesses. The company arranges and schedules jobs for you, so you can focus on delivering quality workmanship and strong customer service. Work is based out of your home and uses your own truck or van to travel to job sites in Johns Creek and surrounding areas.

The role is especially suited to carpenters and multi-trade craftsmen who can confidently handle tasks across several disciplines.
What the job involves
- Carry out handyman, repair, maintenance, and remodeling work on projects of varying size and complexity.
- Use knowledge across multiple trades, including carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical work.
- Provide professional customer service while working with clients, office staff, management, and other team members.
- Travel independently to scheduled jobs using your own truck or van.
- Maintain a professional image, keep accurate records, and support invoicing and documentation needs.
Required background and qualifications
- Proven history of working as a carpenter or craftsman; estimating ability and home inspection experience are strongly preferred.
- Capability to complete minor plumbing and electrical tasks.
- Own a full set of tools needed for the listed trades.
- Have your own truck or van for job travel.
- Hold a current, valid driver’s license.
- Live within 15 miles of the city of Insert Municipality here.
- Be able to pass both a background check and a drug screening.
- Bring strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Show excellent documentation and invoicing skills.
- Present a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Compensation and benefits
Estimated annual income may range from $45,000 to $68,000, with performance-based bonuses available. The posted pay rate is $23 to $34 per hour.
