Role Summary
As a Corporate Recruiter, you will be integral to shaping the company's future by sourcing, attracting, and hiring outstanding talent across corporate, technology, and customer experience teams. Balancing speed with quality, you will independently manage recruitment end-to-end, partner with hiring managers on hiring strategies, enhance interview processes, and elevate hiring standards. You'll have autonomy to influence hiring decisions and innovate recruitment methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand business goals, workforce planning, and talent acquisition needs, devising effective recruiting strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor providing market insights, coaching interviewers, and influencing hiring decisions.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment from intake through offer acceptance with a focus on candidate experience and quality.
- Design structured interviews and evaluation scorecards, coaching teams for consistent candidate assessments aligned with role requirements and company principles.
- Handle multiple concurrent searches maintaining strong communication and organization.
- Leverage recruiting data, AI tools, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and hiring success.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide talent acquisition projects and employer branding initiatives.
Growth Milestones
- Within 30 days: Complete orientation, grasp company operations and culture, build relationships with stakeholders, and own initial recruitment searches.
- Within 90 days: Enhance recruitment strategies or technologies, identify assessment gaps and create solutions, independently manage recruitment portfolios, and build trusted partnerships.
- Within 180 days: Collaborate with people teams to improve talent processes, share insights cross-functionally, influence hiring strategies, improve candidate experience, utilize data for quality hiring, and promote AI adoption in recruiting practices.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum three years of internal recruiting experience, preferably in fast-paced, digital product-focused companies hiring for corporate, technology, and customer experience roles.
- Proficient in managing full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and negotiation.
- Strong talent evaluation skills assessing technical and behavioral qualifications, setting clear criteria, and coaching hiring teams for consistent decision-making.
- Ability to forge strategic partnerships with hiring managers and stakeholders, influence hiring outcomes, and utilize market intelligence.
- Expertise in proactive sourcing, building diverse talent pipelines, and engaging passive candidates through innovative techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of the Chicago talent market for sourcing top technical talent in various skill sets.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and action-oriented with ownership mentality and adaptability to evolving priorities.
- Exceptional communication, organization, persuasion, negotiation skills, and keen attention to detail while managing multiple tasks.
- Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset, utilizing AI, automation, and data analytics to optimize recruitment.
Compensation and Benefits
The total rewards package includes an annual bonus, flexible paid time off, mental health days, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K matching, monthly credits and discounts for live events, among other perks. Salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000 USD per year. Final offer factors include geography, experience, education, and qualifications.
Workplace Model
This position is located in Chicago, IL, and requires a hybrid work schedule with on-site presence three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday).
