The Contingent Labour Office (CLO) partners with the business to streamline and enhance the engagement of external resources while balancing commercial interests and mitigating firm risks. Our team consists of expert practitioners who stay current on market intelligence and deliver trusted, customer-focused services.

This role can be located anywhere in Canada, with an expectation of 1-2 days per month onsite for company meetings.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support Hiring Managers across Canada in engaging external resources by executing processes from onboarding to renewal or departure for over 1,000 contractors annually.
  • Leverage technology to improve CLO processes, user experience, and resource allocation.
  • Continuously optimize workflows and maintain up-to-date documentation for stakeholders.

Key Duties

  • Promote the CLO via a customer-first approach acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Conduct intake discussions with senior leaders to understand resource needs.
  • Provide training and guidance on submitting requests using the vendor management system.
  • Collect, analyze, and assess data for managing external resource cases.
  • Perform due diligence including background checks and compliance verification.
  • Keep stakeholders informed throughout engagement processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for reporting, compliance, and audits.
  • Identify complex cases and coordinate with the team to meet requirements.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries related to CLO operations.

Process Governance and Improvement

  • Drive or assist with internal process enhancements including impact assessments and change management.
  • Maintain SOPs, templates, and knowledge base articles.
  • Ensure documentation accessibility and provide training on updated procedures.
  • Stay informed on contingent workforce policies, legislation, and practices.

Candidate Profile

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant case management experience.
  • Exposure to agencies, staffing firms, or contingent workforce management is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingual English and French skills are an advantage.
  • Experience interacting with diverse stakeholders including senior partners and service providers.
  • Strong attention to detail with accuracy in handling complex information.
  • Adept at multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with effective prioritization skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and documentation promptly.
  • Proactive mindset towards continuous process improvement.
  • Technologically proficient with the ability to leverage multiple systems.
  • Familiarity with vendor management systems like Flextrack or Beeline and ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline.

Written and spoken fluency in English is required. The position supports collaboration with English-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.

The salary range for this role in both British Columbia and Ontario is approximately $55,000 to $82,000 annually, with eligibility for performance bonuses. Compensation will be based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
