Role overview
Siemens Healthineers is looking for a Contract Manager in Riyadh Region to support commercial contract work, with a focus on change orders, amendments, and contract modifications. What you will do
- Spot commercial exposure early and prepare proposed revisions to contract paperwork so that company requirements and operational standards are met.
- Share identified commercial risks and required contract updates promptly with managers and the relevant governance owners.
- Make sure all stakeholders are aligned and that internal approval materials are prepared, including risk checklists, inter-department reviews, and management approvals.
- Read contract clauses from an operational perspective, convert them into project actions, support the project team, identify risks, and escalate them to the proper governance owner when needed.
- Run cross-functional reviews and manage changes to customer contracts.
- Handle change orders, amendments, and contract modifications as part of daily work.
- Evaluate the contract risk profile to confirm it follows Limits of Authority (LoA) guidance and any other applicable instructions.
- Check purchase orders against the contract, offer, or framework agreement to ensure consistency.
- Review and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), and other miscellaneous agreement requests during the offer process; the exact mix of tasks may vary based on workload.
What you need
- A law degree with contract management experience in private and public-sector contracts, or a bachelor’s degree plus at least five years of relevant experience in commercial transactions and contract management.
- Well-developed organization and documentation management abilities.
- Hands-on negotiation experience, including building risk mitigation approaches and helping close and finalize agreements.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication abilities in both Arabic and English for work with clients, partners, and subcontractors on complex contracts.
- Solid understanding of commercial contract administration, lifecycle management, and risk mitigation methods.
