Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for converting intricate scientific and technological topics into captivating and accessible content. This position demands staying current with the swiftly advancing artificial intelligence domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Report on the latest breakthroughs in science, technology, and AI.
• Produce high-quality news stories, explainer articles, feature pieces, and analytical content related to new technologies, scientific achievements, and innovations.
• Track updates in AI, machine learning, robotics, semiconductor technology, space exploration technologies, and consumer electronics.
• Translate complex scientific and technical information into straightforward, engaging, and precise content that appeals to a broad digital audience.
• Spot emerging industry trends and propose original content ideas that resonate with readers.
• Work closely with the editorial team to ensure prompt, precise, and impactful publication of content.
• Adhere rigorously to editorial standards involving research accuracy and fact-checking.

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM fields such as Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
• Possess 1 to 2 years of digital newsroom or editorial experience specializing in science, technology, or AI.
• Have strong comprehension of scientific principles and emerging technological trends.
• Demonstrate an active interest in contemporary AI tools, models, software products, and related sector developments.
• Exhibit excellent skills in research, analysis, and communication.
• Be capable of crafting engaging explainers and feature articles while adhering to strict publication deadlines.
