About the Role
Deutsche Bahn is actively seeking motivated individuals for over 500 different professions across Germany, welcoming both experienced professionals and those starting their careers. We are hiring a Construction Assistant specializing in Recycling for the DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at the Hannover location, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle tasks related to track materials including upper track layers, concrete sleepers, and small metal parts.
- Load and unload upper track materials efficiently.
- Support the construction teams within the operational site grounds.
- Participate in maintenance work and customer service duties.
Candidate Profile
- Preferably completed vocational training, such as road construction worker, civil engineering specialist, or bricklayer, with initial experience in a manual trade area.
- Demonstrate high flexibility, self-initiative, and willingness to engage in short-notice operational tasks.
- Exhibit a responsible work ethic and reliable teamwork abilities.
- Enjoy working outdoors and be prepared for temporary assembly duties including shift work during nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Possess a valid Class B driving license and ideally have experience operating construction machinery and equipment.
