Key Responsibilities
- Act as the central program expert utilizing our extensive software and database of over 1,200 programs to assist dealers in creating and implementing optimal recommendations for farmers. Integrate opportunities including carbon credits, EQIP, water conservation, and habitat programs into solutions.
- Provide critical technical support to farmers and partners by clarifying practical aspects such as cover crop species selection and MRV requirements to sustain trust and success.
- Collaborate closely with the technology team to enhance the Landoption Portal by translating field challenges into user-friendly software functionalities that simplify and incentivize program enrollment.
- Assist the marketing team in developing educational content and materials that streamline understanding and promote effective program engagement.
Candidate Profile
- Strong foundation in agronomy or soil science, ideally holding credentials such as Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) or Technical Service Provider (TSP), with experience working with USDA/NRCS programs considered a significant advantage.
- Comfortable leveraging artificial intelligence tools to enhance productivity while maintaining expert judgment.
- Excellent communication skills that allow you to explain complex agricultural concepts clearly, facilitating successful program completion and payments for producers.
- Passionate about achieving a harmonious balance between agricultural productivity, environmental stewardship, and profitability.
- Entrepreneurial mindset thriving in a fast-paced, lean team environment dedicated to pioneering new agricultural program categories.
Additional Information
- This is a remote role requiring residence within approximately a two hundred-mile radius of Lincoln, Nebraska.
- Position involves up to 80% travel locally to meet with partners and producers.
