Job Overview

This remote contract role is focused on supporting the training of next-generation AI systems through high-quality domain input. The work centers on competitive programming and problem validation, and prior AI experience is not needed as long as you bring strong subject-matter expertise.

What You Will Do

• Create and implement checkers for competitive programming tasks where more than one output may be valid, with an emphasis on correctness and reliability.
• Review participant solutions and verify them against challenging problem statements, including those similar to problems from Codeforces.
• Work with the client team to refine problem definitions and resolve unclear or ambiguous cases.
• Write maintainable C++ code that can efficiently evaluate varied outputs and edge cases.
• Record the checker approach clearly and explain tricky logic or special cases in writing and verbally.
• Share suggestions with problem setters and reviewers to improve test coverage and checker quality.
• Keep up with current competitive programming practices and apply them when building checkers.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong background in competitive programming and in analyzing coding problems.
• Advanced C++ skills for building dependable checker logic.
• Good analytical thinking to handle complex constraints and multiple valid solution paths.
• Excellent written and spoken communication for explaining technical details clearly.
• A careful approach to debugging, validation, and output consistency.
• Comfort working independently in a remote, collaborative setup.
• Ability to deliver clean, well-documented work within tight deadlines.

Preferred Background

• Experience as a problem setter, tester, or checker on a major competitive programming platform is an advantage.
