Role Overview

The Communications Manager will own both internal and external communication strategy. This role calls for an experienced professional who can shape communication plans, safeguard brand consistency, manage corporate messaging, and support reputation management across channels while aligning communication efforts with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver end-to-end communication strategies for internal and external audiences, ensuring they align with business priorities, brand direction, and organizational goals.
  • Draft, refine, and oversee a wide range of corporate communication materials such as press releases, leadership announcements, newsletters, speeches, presentations, reports, website copy, and social media content.
  • Partner closely with marketing, public relations, HR, executive leadership, legal, customer success, product, and operations to keep messaging consistent across every channel.
  • Handle media relations by developing connections with journalists, outlets, and industry voices, and by managing interviews, press inquiries, and media events.
  • Prepare executive-level communication assets including leadership notes, keynote materials, board updates, and strategic announcements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, English, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • A master’s degree such as an MBA or MA in Communications/Public Relations, or relevant professional certifications, is considered an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in communications, corporate communications, public relations, media relations, content strategy, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading communication teams, managing corporate messaging, or driving strategic communication projects is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of corporate communications, public relations, media engagement, executive communications, brand management, content strategy, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Hands-on experience with CMS and CRM platforms, media monitoring tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, social media management systems, and business intelligence tools.
  • Exposure to SEO, digital marketing, AI-assisted content tools, reputation management platforms, internal communication tools, and communication analytics is beneficial.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, writing, editing, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
