About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join a major public health initiative located in Dublin 4. This full-time position plays a pivotal role in a landmark healthcare capital project shaping the future of maternity healthcare services across Ireland.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and execute strategic communication plans directed both internally and externally.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders including organizational teams, government bodies, healthcare partners, and the general public.
- Develop and deliver well-crafted briefings, media responses, and communication materials for senior leadership.
- Facilitate communication efforts supporting programme initiatives, change management processes, and staff engagement activities.
- Oversee media relations, manage digital content, and provide regular programme updates.
- Continuously review and monitor communication activities and offer strategic counsel to programme leaders.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possession of at least a Level 8 qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
- Extensive experience in senior roles focusing on communications, public affairs, or engaging stakeholders.
- Demonstrable success in communication roles within the health, construction, or similar sectors, including:
- Planning and managing effective communication campaigns.
- Creating content for both online and offline publications.
- Handling inquiries from various media outlets including broadcast, print, and online.
- Proven expertise in developing communication strategies and writing high-quality materials.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, media relations, and organizational coordination.
