Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Commis chefs specialized in continental cuisine to join our kitchen team. The role involves preparing a diverse range of continental dishes such as breakfast fare, salads, sandwiches, pastas, burgers, steaks, and desserts, ensuring all food items adhere to company recipes and high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook continental menu items maintaining consistency and taste.
- Uphold food presentation standards and control portions effectively.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply strictly with hygiene regulations.
- Manage kitchen inventory and stock levels to minimize waste.
- Support menu innovation by assisting in creating new dishes and seasonal specials.
- Supervise and provide guidance to kitchen assistants and junior staff.
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and handling to meet safety standards.
- Collaborate with service staff to guarantee prompt order preparation and delivery.
- Monitor the condition of kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs.
Additional Information
- Monthly compensation ranges between 16000 and 22000 INR.
