Clinical Training Manager - Vascular Aortic Intervention

Role Overview

The Clinical Training Manager for Vascular Aortic Intervention is tasked with designing, delivering, and reinforcing clinical training initiatives for employees, distributors, and customers in alignment with the specialty’s training objectives. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Training - APAC, this position is essential in ensuring consistency, accuracy, and relevance in training programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with division leaders, various company functions, and operational units to maintain accuracy and consistency in clinical training content, processes, and priorities.
• Support the creation of a training framework that aligns globally across specialties, while tailoring to local and regional regulatory requirements and necessities.
• Engage regularly with the regional training team to develop, assess, and fulfill training and development goals; aid in training documentation efforts, which may require participation in meetings beyond usual working hours.
• Continuously enhance regional clinical training strategies by monitoring relevant metrics, gathering feedback from clients and staff, addressing concerns and bridging any gaps efficiently.
• Deliver in-field, classroom-based, and virtual training sessions focused on product knowledge, clinical insights, business acumen, and sales techniques as assigned.
• Support field teams and leadership through clinical training, event participation, and reinforcement of sales and business development strategies.
• Provide clinical case support within assigned accounts when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to training-related processes and proper documentation of training activities in Cook Learn.
• Assist with the development of annual plans and budget estimates when assigned.
• Help manage educational event calendars regionally to guarantee alignment with divisional objectives.
• Contribute to the formulation, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, eligibility criteria, and qualifications relevant to training attendees, trainers, and programs as assigned.
• Complete administrative responsibilities such as expense reporting, training documentation, and policy acknowledgments by deadlines.
• Conduct all business activities with integrity and ensure compliance with Cook policies and applicable standards.
• Within the area of responsibility, comply with quality, regulatory, and product-specific requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience spanning sales, clinical practice, or training roles.
• In-depth knowledge of specialty products and clinical application of both standard and customized aortic devices.
• Proven expertise in delivering education and training in clinical, sales, or related environments, with capability to engage large groups or individuals virtually and in person.
• Strong leadership qualities with prior experience managing organizational change.
• Familiarity with training documentation systems and methodologies.
• Understanding of adult learning principles including assessments and competency-based training approaches.
• Exemplify company standards and foster positive behavioral models that promote team collaboration towards market objectives.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to operate effectively both in team settings and independently with limited supervision.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency with personal computing platforms and business software including Microsoft Office or Mac OS.
• Fluency in Artificial Intelligence concepts and data use aligned with responsible organizational practices.
• Willingness to undertake domestic and international travel, including potential weekend work, up to 50% of the time.
• Capable of performing duties in both general office environments and hospital or clinical settings.
