Position Overview

This role supports senior Relationship Managers in delivering comprehensive private banking services to clients of The Bank of East Asia (BEA). The position requires maintaining high standards of client interaction and compliance with regulatory requirements as well as internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior Relationship Managers in providing exemplary private banking client service.
  • Respond professionally and courteously to client inquiries regarding financial markets and account details.
  • Deliver first-class customer service aligned with regulations and bank policies.
  • Recommend appropriate banking products and services tailored to clients' needs, risk profiles, and affordability while providing clear and transparent information throughout the sales process.

  • Monitor pending remittance, loans, deposits, and securities transactions for timely settlement.
  • Help monitor collateral and loan positions daily for credit facilities.
  • Maintain and safeguard all client records and files meticulously.

Candidate Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or University degree is preferred.
  • Possession of CACS paper 1 and 2 certifications is required.
  • At least five years of relevant experience, ideally within Private Banking.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes and procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of credit and investment products.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese languages.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
