Role Overview
We have an opening for motivated and dependable cleaners to join our team at a retail location. This position is well-suited for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments, show keen attention to detail, and are passionate about maintaining clean and inviting spaces for clients and customers. The role involves casual shifts on both weekends and weekdays, compensated according to award wages.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning tasks to a high standard
- Conduct spot cleaning on furnishings
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean restrooms thoroughly
- Collect and dispose of rubbish
- Clean internal and external glass surfaces
- Dust all hard surfaces
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning preferred
- Proven ability to work well within a team
- Capability to follow instructions and work independently
- Great attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
- Availability to work flexible hours including public holidays
- Experience using floor care machines (scrubbers, buffers, sweepers) is advantageous
- Possess valid work authorization for Australia
