About the Role
If you enjoy hands-on outdoor work and want to contribute to the smooth running of the local community, this position is an excellent fit. You will operate machinery, maintain roads and drainage systems, and assist in building essential local infrastructure. Your efforts will be visible, valued, and impactful.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure the safety of roads, drainage, and public spaces.
- Operate trucks and various civil plant machinery.
- Assist with manual tasks including digging, lifting, and raking.
- Take care of the machinery and tools used on a daily basis.
- Ensure that all work sites meet safety standards for all personnel involved.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of at least a Heavy Rigid Victorian Driver Licence or willingness to upgrade with employer support (paid time for courses).
- Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and interest in civil maintenance or operating machinery.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adhere to instructions.
- Basic proficiency using a tablet for task scheduling and communication.
- Experience and certified qualifications in operating plant equipment such as excavators and skid steers.
- Commitment to safety and completing tasks correctly.
Additional Requirements
- Agreement to upgrade to a Heavy Combination Victorian Driver Licence within three months of eligibility. Paid work time will be provided to prepare, though costs will not be reimbursed.

- Salary range: $65,872 to $71,269 plus allowances and superannuation.
