KidStrong is a child development training center that supports parents in raising children who are stronger, smarter, and more athletic. The program is designed for kids from walking age through 11 years old and focuses on building confidence, social skills, and classroom readiness through a science-based, parent-involved approach.
KidStrong Milton is expanding quickly and is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic Children's Coach who enjoys working closely with children and parents and wants to make a positive difference.

Role and Schedule
- The ideal candidate has athletic or coaching experience and preferably has worked with children from 12 months to 11 years old.
- This role centers on guiding children's brain, physical, and character development through a monthly curriculum.
- You should be comfortable explaining to parents and guardians the purpose and value behind the curriculum.
- Classes usually run on weekdays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and in the evenings until 7:00 pm, while weekend classes generally run from 8:00 am until around noon.
- There is flexibility in scheduling based on studio requirements.
- Additional hours may be available through private party coaching.
- Experience as a pediatric OT or PT is considered an advantage, though it is not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead class groups of 6 to 15 children, typically ranging in age from about 12 months to 11 years.
- Deliver the curriculum provided by the HQ programming team.
- Keep classes on time and maintain the intended pace of the lesson plan.
- Welcome each child and their parent or guardian at the start of class.
- Bring energy, motivation, professionalism, and a positive presence to every session.
- Demonstrate exercises and supervise their correct execution.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the center, including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors, by taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping equipment, and sanitizing mats at the end of shifts.
- Use the KS Coach's App to track attendance, awards, and other class information for parents.
- Communicate with teammates through Slack and check messages regularly even when not in the center.
- Complete required training in FranConnect as directed by the HQ Training and Certification team.
- Work in a physically demanding environment that may involve walking several miles during a shift and moving equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Provide hands-on support to children when needed to ensure correct technique and safety.
- Help parents of children age three and under manage the flow of class.
- Attend monthly programming meetings to prepare for the next month's curriculum.
- Participate in any additional mandatory meetings requested by the KidStrong Director.
- Learn and run Coach KidStrong Academy sessions held during school breaks such as winter break and summer break.
- Achieve certified status through the HQ Training and Certification team.
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for working with children is essential.
- Previous coaching experience with the relevant age group is preferred.
- Experience presenting the curriculum to parents and explaining it clearly is preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise methods, and body mechanics is required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a positive, motivating approach are important.
- You should be self-driven and able to complete tasks reliably.
- Comfort with being in the spotlight and leading a group is important.
