Position Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will report directly to the CEO and oversee daily operations encompassing clinical and administrative functions, assuring superior patient care, compliance, and service quality. This role requires strong leadership to scale operations while preserving the highest clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operational activities across all departments to guarantee outstanding patient and client experiences.
- Collaborate with the CEO to execute strategic growth plans including expanding service lines and increasing our market presence throughout New England.
- Oversee profit and loss management, implementing cost control and revenue growth tactics consistent with organizational financial goals.
- Lead adoption and incorporation of agentic AI, conversational intelligence, and other digital solutions to improve workflow efficiency and patient engagement.
- Ensure continuous compliance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health, CMS regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Foster a culture of high performance while maintaining strong partnerships with management, clients, and payors.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of advancing leadership roles within healthcare operations, including at least 5 years in executive positions such as VP or higher.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MHA strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the New England healthcare landscape, including MassHealth and integrated delivery networks.
- Demonstrated success in deploying electronic medical records, AI enhancements, and analytics tools to empower data-driven management.

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary ranges from $180,000 to $205,000 annually, adjusted based on prior experience, complemented by performance bonuses. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability coverage, and 401(k) matching. Working Arrangement
The position is primarily based in Newton, MA, with an expectation of 80% on-site presence and 20% remote work.
