Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee all operational aspects of the Pure Madness Group, translating strategic plans into day-to-day operations and ensuring leadership alignment. This role focuses on operational efficiency, execution, and continuous improvement, playing a critical role in strategic planning, financial oversight, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate internal processes to find opportunities for increasing efficiency and improving operations.
• Execute business strategies that balance immediate and long-term operational goals.
• Collaborate closely with brewmaster and leadership to synchronize sales and operations planning.
• Track and enhance key metrics such as cost of goods sold, freight, workforce productivity, and equipment output.
• Create scalable systems, reporting tools, and accountability frameworks.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of sales, marketing, finance, HR, and operations.
• Support exploration and implementation of new products, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
• Identify risks in operations and financials and establish strategies to mitigate them.
• Participate actively in budgeting, forecasting, and managing finances aligned with company objectives and cash flow.
• Lead and mentor operational leaders, fostering accountability, communication, and collaboration across departments.
• Resolve complex operational issues while ensuring daily business functions run smoothly.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee operational tasks such as monthly inventory closings, cost allocations, purchasing, and production planning to align with cash flow goals.
• Ensure operation teams meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Regularly engage with executive team to review strategic priorities and monitor implementation progress.
• Promote a high-performance, collaborative culture that positions the company as a top employer in the beverage sector.
• Maintain transparent communication and organizational awareness across the company.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience in beverage manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, or a similar field.
• Strong financial and operational skills, including budgeting, forecasting, inventory oversight, and process improvement.
• Proven ability to lead dynamic teams in rapidly growing environments.
• Capable of combining strategic thought with practical execution.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational capabilities.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, production, finance, and executive teams.
