Position Overview
This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service by efficiently and accurately handling checkout and return transactions. Cashiers ensure the Self-Checkout area is maintained and assist customers with product information to promote sales opportunities while adhering to company policies to reduce shrinkage.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quick, friendly, and accurate service during checkout and returns.
- Oversee the Self-Checkout stations to ensure smooth operation.
- Continuously enhance product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities.
- Adhere strictly to policies and procedures to minimize inventory shrinkage.
- Head Cashiers support and guide other Cashiers by managing price checks and authorizing Point of Sale transactions and markdowns across various departments.
- Handle first-level customer escalations promptly and effectively.
- Assist in training and supervising Front End Associates and new Cashiers by utilizing coaching tools for development.
Qualifications
- Preferably have at least one year of Cashier experience.
