Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Cashier position is located in Dubai. The primary responsibilities include managing all forms of customer payments such as cash, card, and digital transactions, issuing receipts, and ensuring the cash drawer balances accurately at shift start and end. The cashier will also welcome customers, respond to basic questions, assist sales staff with payment procedures, and keep the checkout area orderly and clean.

The role involves verifying pricing and discounts, adhering to company policies, and assisting with simple administrative duties like transaction recording and daily sales reconciliation. Punctuality, professionalism, and a strong customer-oriented mindset are essential.

Requirements

• Excellent cash handling skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy during payment processing and cash drawer management.
• Effective customer service capabilities, including clear communication, politeness, and handling simple customer inquiries or concerns.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with computer use, particularly POS systems and routine record-keeping.
• Ability to be physically present in Dubai, stand for long periods, and manage busy customer flows in a retail environment.
• Prior experience in retail or cashier roles is preferred; jewelry or luxury retail experience is an advantage.
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions and company procedures consistently.
• Proficient in English. Knowledge of additional languages common in Dubai is beneficial.
