Position Overview
The role of Cash Register Operator is a full-time onsite position based in Tbilisi, charged with managing patient payment processing. Responsibilities include handling various payment methods such as cash, card, and electronic transactions, issuing receipts, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions. The operator is responsible for verifying billing details, reconciling cash drawer balances at shift end, and maintaining precise financial documentation. This position involves direct interaction with patients, answering payment queries courteously, and coordinating with administrative and financial teams to address discrepancies. Adherence to internal financial policies and confidentiality is mandatory.
Key Duties
- Enter medical cases into the billing system following established protocols.
- Facilitate patient discharge procedures including receiving medical documents from nursing staff.
- Complete administrative closing of patient records and update systems accordingly.
- Confirm the accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.
- Check financial and medical records for correctness.
- Prepare and submit reports to management timely in the required formats.
Schedule and Compensation
The role involves working 16-hour shifts every third day. The hourly wage is GEL 4.38.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses higher education, ideally in a medical discipline.
- Minimum one year experience in a similar cashier or payment processing role is preferred.
