About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Case Manager specializing in Long Term Management to join our Workers’ Compensation division. This position involves overseeing a caseload of complicated and enduring claims. You will collaborate closely with injured employees, employers, healthcare providers, and rehabilitation specialists to facilitate effective and lasting outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a portfolio of prolonged and intricate Workers’ Compensation claims.
- Create customized plans for recovery, treatment, and return-to-work initiatives.
- Provide support for injured workers facing medical, vocational, or psychosocial challenges.
- Establish and nurture strong partnerships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze medical data to identify ways to enhance recovery and work ability.
- Ensure claims adhere to applicable laws, scheme rules, and internal policies.
- Keep accurate claim documentation while fulfilling service and regulatory standards.
Candidate Profile
- Experience managing complex or long-term Workers’ Compensation claims.
- Comprehensive understanding of Workers’ Compensation schemes and claim procedures.
- Skilled in assisting injured workers with multifaceted recovery and reintegration needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship abilities.
- Capacity to handle sensitive discussions with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong organizational talents and problem-solving aptitude.
