Overview
The Careers and Employability Service (CES), part of the Student Skills and Success division at Maynooth University, is inviting applications for the proactive role of Careers & Events Coordinator. This role is central in boosting the visibility, involvement, and impact of the Careers and Employability Service among key groups including students, staff, employers, and alumni.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Careers and Employability Service, the successful candidate will support the service team by leading communications and engagement initiatives, managing a broad programme of careers and employability events, and fostering employer partnerships that generate opportunities for students and graduates.
Key duties include:
- Developing and rolling out communications strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Producing compelling digital and print materials.
- Overseeing an annual schedule of careers-related events and workshops.
- Utilizing new technologies and online platforms to enhance stakeholder engagement and broaden the Service's outreach.

Compensation & Terms
- Salary Grade: Administrative Officer AOII (2026): €47,387 – €67,129 per annum (9 points).
- Appointments adhere to public sector pay guidelines.
