Café Chef

Position Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled and versatile Café Chef specializing in Continental and café-style cuisine for an upcoming café located on Southern Avenue, Kolkata. This role demands culinary expertise combined with operational capabilities to ensure excellent food quality and smooth daily operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffees and other beverages.
• Create mocktails as part of the beverage offerings.
• Operate billing and POS systems efficiently.
• Manage stock and inventory including regular monitoring and replenishment.
• Support purchasing activities and market procurement when needed.
• Assist the main chef with fundamental kitchen duties as required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the café and contribute to overall operational fluidity.

Required Skills and Cuisine Expertise

• Proficiency in preparing Continental dishes including pasta, pizza, soups, grilled chicken, burgers, and sandwiches.
• Ability to cook Chinese cuisine and popular fried snacks such as momos.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new cooking techniques and recipes.

Employment Details

This is a full-time position offering a salary range between 8000 to 18000 INR per month.
