Role Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst position involves developing, testing, documenting, and managing a comprehensive set of reports and data visualizations. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain reports, dashboards, and visual data presentations utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and related analytics platforms.
  • Contribute actively to work planning, including breaking down tasks into stories and integrating these into sprint cycles, and participate in technical planning such as data model creation and deployment.
  • Engage in quality assurance efforts through peer evaluations, rigorous testing, and ongoing refinement activities.

  • Collaborate with customers to gather reporting requirements and iteratively design reports that fulfill their needs.
  • Partner with internal teams to discern business requirements and formulate BI solutions accordingly.
  • Provide end-user support by troubleshooting and resolving BI tool and system issues for both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain high standards for data accuracy, completeness, and consistency while adhering to established data governance practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Educational background: high school diploma or post-secondary qualifications in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
  • Technical proficiency required in SQL, Excel, and basic Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, advanced Power BI, Git, Python, R, Java, Power Query M, DAX, Power Automate, and workflow orchestration tools is advantageous.
  • Business acumen including foundational understanding of Agile methodologies, analytical problem-solving, teamwork, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe frameworks is a plus.
  • Automotive industry and Dealership Management System experience (particularly with PBS) is preferred.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential; French language skills are a benefit.
