Description de l'emploi
About Zerowatt
Zerowatt develops an advanced AI-driven energy management system for industrial sites. The solution is deployed in demanding plant environments such as kilns, furnaces, compressor houses, and chiller plants. It helps reduce energy costs, predicts equipment failures in advance, and is helping reshape how industrial operations perform. The business is growing quickly, and each successful sale contributes to meaningful energy savings and lower carbon impact.
Role overview
This position is focused on complex industrial B2B selling. Success depends on identifying all the decision-makers and influencers inside a customer account, understanding their different priorities, and keeping the opportunity moving until the purchase order is secured. You will manage the full regional pipeline, beginning with the first plant visit and continuing through to deal closure, while working closely with the founders on active accounts.
What you will do
The job calls for active field engagement, stakeholder mapping, and steady account progression. You will need to walk plant floors, uncover the real blockers inside each opportunity, support your internal champion, and help the customer align on the commercial and technical value of the solution.
Who this role suits
Zerowatt is open to people who may not come from climate tech or traditional sales backgrounds. The company is looking for candidates with hands-on exposure to industrial or technical environments who are comfortable discussing both engineering and business outcomes.
This could include application engineers from automation or electrical OEMs who naturally handle commercial conversations, energy auditors who want their recommendations implemented, or plant engineers who believe they can present and position a solution more effectively than a vendor.
Compensation and growth
The package includes a fixed salary of ₹9 lakh per year, along with deal-based incentives and early-stage ESOPs. High-performing closers may earn above their fixed compensation. The role also offers exposure to a fast-moving team working on industrial decarbonisation in India.
How to apply
No cover letter is needed. Candidates should write about one deal they advanced by identifying the right person to speak to when others had missed that connection. The response should be limited to three paragraphs.
Additional information
This opportunity is intended for candidates who relate to the realities described in the opening narrative: being comfortable at plant gates, speaking with both technical and financial stakeholders, handling rejection with curiosity, and enjoying the challenge of complex industrial sales.
