Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially astute and relationship-oriented Business Development Manager to collaborate with some of our most strategic state-based customers. This permanent, full-time position is based primarily in the Sydney metro area, with occasional regional travel each quarter.
This prominent role involves combining customer leadership with commercial strategy and negotiation skills to unlock new growth avenues, strengthen partnerships, and achieve beneficial outcomes for both CCEP and our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with critical customers and stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations including trading terms, tenders, and commercial agreements.
- Formulate and implement joint business plans aimed at sustainable growth.
- Identify new sales prospects and drive profitable growth of the product portfolio.
- Utilize market, category, and customer insights to guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with field teams to realize customer strategies in the market.
- Manage range reviews, promotional scheduling, and category initiatives.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to discover growth opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Revenue Growth Management, and Strategy departments.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated ability managing substantial customer relationships.
- Strong skills in sales, negotiation, and influence.
- Commercially minded with a balanced approach to growth and profitability.
- Experience in developing strategic plans for customers.
- High competency in data analysis and confidence working with metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Energetic, resilient, and solutions-driven mindset.
- Background in FMCG, grocery, route-to-market, or category management is advantageous.
