Business Analyst / Project Manager

Role Overview

The role focuses on bridging the gap between business ideas and technical delivery by ensuring clear communication and precise documentation. As a Business Analyst/Project Manager, you'll guide initiatives from conceptual stages through to detailed specifications ready for engineering teams, while managing project progress and resolving any issues to ensure alignment with initial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to deeply understand their true needs, documenting them clearly and accurately beyond their initial expressions.
• Create comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories that provide unambiguous instructions for the engineering team.
• Manage coordination and delivery efforts across quantitative, infrastructure, and product teams, monitoring timelines, milestones, and obstacles.
• Act as the central communication hub between company leadership, technical teams, and external collaborators.
• Maintain an updated product backlog and facilitate sprint planning and review sessions.
• Verify that completed work matches original requirements and obtain formal approvals from stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of three years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager within fintech or technology sectors.
• A portfolio showcasing clear requirements documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, or user stories.
• Proven success in delivering cross-disciplinary technical projects punctually.
• Familiarity and comfort working within agile or scrum frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences and translate ambiguous business requests into clear technical instructions.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Experience in trading, cryptocurrency, or capital markets industries.
• Participation in system integration efforts such as APIs, data pipelines, or exchange connectivity.
• Relevant certifications like CBAP, PMP, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Notion.
