Bulk Picker - Full Time

About the Role

Join Pet Valu's vibrant warehouse team located in Rocky View County, Alberta. Pet Valu specializes in retailing a wide range of pet food and supplies under brands such as Bosley's, Tisol, and Total Pet. We're actively seeking Bulk Pickers to help prepare store orders for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and set up pick zones by determining pallet start and stop points.
• Accurately select stock based on store order sheets and packing instructions.
• Maintain a low error rate in quantity recording, aiming for no more than 3 to 5 errors per 1,000 picks.
• Assemble pallets observing proper standards for height, weight, stability, and securing products with shrink wrap.
• Keep the workspace clean and safe by performing duties such as sweeping and cardboard disposal.
• Notify replenisher staff of any empty pick locations.
• Carefully operate motorized equipment, ensuring its proper function before each shift.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent minimum educational qualification.
• Experience totaling at least 500 hours operating a motorized walkie (end-rider).
• Reach truck certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Physical ability to lift products weighing up to 50 pounds.
